Fueron padrinos y testigos el alférez real Andrés de Castrillón y doña Isabel de Castrillón Bernaldo de Quiroz. Hallose presente el licenciado Manuel Palomino, cura coadjutor del curato de Santo Domingo, por ausencia del propietario. Doctor don Lorenzo de Casdtrillón Bernaldo de Quiroz

"Nativo de la villa de la Victoria, en la provincia de Alava, del matrimonio de don Pedro Gaviria Troconis y de doña Damiana González, vino a Medellín en el año de 1676, pocos días después de fundada la ciudad y en ella contrajo matrimonio, el 25 de septiembre de 1678, con doña Manuela de Castrillón, hija del capitán Mateo de Castrillón y de doña María Vásquez Guadramiros".
332 Carlos Gaviria de Troconis, hijo de Pedro Gaviria de Troconis y Damiana González, emigró a América y estableciéndose en última instancia en Medellín en 1676. En esta villa se casó el 25 de septiembre de 1678 con Manuela de Castrillón, dama de la élite de la región, quien aportó una importante dote a la unión. Cf. Gabriel ARANGO MEJÍA, Op. Cit. Tom.
