Francisco Antonio de Arboleda y Vergara (13 junio 1732 Popayán - 29 enero 1793), vecino de Popayán, con Juana Francisca de Arrachea y Mosquera, casados el 8 de septiembre de 1751 en Popayán, hija de Martín de Arrachea y Urrutia e Ignacia de Mosquera Prieto de Tobar y Figueroa.

Fue en Popayan uno de los mas ricos e importantes vecinos; capitan de milicias, alcalde ordinario y procurador general y durante cuarenta años, mayordomo mayor de la Iglesia del Rosario (Santo Domingo), a la cual y a su convento reconstruyo ampliandolos notablemente. Doto de agua potable el convento y barrio de San camilo, e hizo que el cabildo creara en 1754 un impuesto sobre los vi­veres, destinado a la fundacion de un matadero municipal. Dueño de la extensa hacienda denominada La Bolsa, en el Valle del Cauca, la cual heredaron y conservaron sus descendientes.
