Getuigen bij het huwelijk waren Waander ter Doest, oud 69 jaar, Gerrit Jan ter Boo, oud 53 jaar, Gerrit Lamers, oud 41 jaar en Jan Hesselink, oud 36 jaar, allen landbouwers wonende in de gemeente Hengelo, Hesselink in Oele, de andere drie in Woolde.
Getuige ter Doest verklaarde in het schrijven onervaren te zijn.
De bruid verklaarde onder aanbod van een eed dat met Wilhelmina Busschers en Wilhelmina Busscher, aldus verschillend in de overgelegde stukken voorkomende, dezelfde persoon wordt bedoeld en wel haar moeder.
Merkwaardig is dat bij de huwelijken van haar broers, die ongetwijfeld dezelfde stukken hebben moeten overleggen, hier niet moeilijk over gedaan wordt. Het komt zelfs niet ter sprake.

Notes about Hermina "Mina" Overbeek

Toen Mina 9 jaar was overleed haar moeder. Aangezien zij het enige meisje was, werd ze meteen van school genomen om voor de huishouding en haar jongste broertje te zorgen. Ondanks dat was er later weinig van te merken dat ze zo weinig opleiding genoten had en zo vroeg en zo hard had moeten werken.
