Settled in Glastonbury, CN (along with his wife and her parents) on 108 acres which had been set off to him, but he died before it could be recorded, and his widow became the owner of record. The property reportedly remained in the family until at least 1900.

KILBOURN, or KILBORNE,...THOMAS, Wethersfield, from Wood Ditton, in Co. Cambridge, came to Boston in the Increase, 1635, aged 55, with w. Frances, 50; and ch. Margaret, 23, as the custom-ho. rec. imports, but she was bapt. 23 Sept. 1607; Lydia, 92 [sic], but bapt. 14 July 1616, and that age might have suit. better an elder sis. Elizabeth bapt. 12 May 1614, wh. did not come; Mary, 16;
Frances, 12, bapt. 4 Sept. 1621; and John, 10, bapt. 29 Sept. 1624. He d. bef. 25 Dec. 1640, when ment. of the lds. of Frances the wid. is found. She d. Nov. 1650. Margaret m. Richard Law, the gr.f. of Gov. Law; Lydia m. Robert Hayward or Howard of Windsor; Mary m. John Root; and Frances m. Thomas Uffoot; and the three first nam.
had ch. but the last none. To the dilig. fondness of Payne Kenyon K. of Litchfield, Esq. in 1847, were we indebt. for a copious memor. of predecess. and descend. in 140 pages, wh. is multipl. threefold in 1856.
