MOULTRIE — Curtis Lee Murphy, 57, of Moultrie, died Sunday, June 9, 2013, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 12, at Ione Free Will Baptist Church with the Rev. Terron Stonecypher officiating.

Born Oct. 23, 1955, in Moultrie, he was the son of the late Thomas Ambers Murphy and Jearldean Bufford Murphy.

He was a truck driver with Ponder's Produce and was a member of Ione Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Jewell Murphy of Pelham and Lisa Lashley of Vada, Ga.; two grandchildren, Cole Dreasher of Pelham and Cheyenne Lashley of Vada, Ga.; two sisters, Marie Tucker of Macon, Ga., and Brenda Duckworth of Moultrie; three brothers, Irvin Murphy of Albany, Ga., and Kirk Murphy and Junior Murphy, both of Moultrie; one step-sister, Tonda Kilgore of Moultrie; a special aunt, Louise McMurphy of Moultrie; and several nieces and nephews.

Cobb Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
