Brown, Loam, Sr. -- Private - July 20, 1862. Elected 1st Lieutenant April 23, 1863. Transferred to Company K, 8th Regiment Georgia Cavalry, July 11, 1864. Roll for December 31, 1864, last on file, shows him present. Paroled April 15, 1865.

There are many other Brown Men in this Cemetery, who Enlisted in the Same Confederate Regiment. He is most likely the Father of a few of them.
