Notes about Francis Drake Jr

From MAYFLOWER FAMILIES THROUGH FIVE GENERATIONS, Vol. 3. Soule. pg. 35: "Francis Drake's will proved in Piscataway May 1733 mentions his wife, Patience, and his children as Rachel Runion, Marsha, Betty, Francis, Benjamin, James, Henry, and Joseph, all minors; and grandson Ephraim Drake. Patience Drake's will was proved in Piscataway, NJ, 7 April 1762, and mentions grandson Ephraim, son of son Ephraim, deceased, daughters Rachel Runyon, Martha, son-in-law Hezekiah Dunham; grandchildren Patience and Francis, children of son Henry, deceased, and the children of my three deceased sons James, Henry and Joseph. It is to be noted that Francis and Benjamin who were in their father's will were omitted from their mother's will. Since no further records have been found for them, it is presumed that they died without issue. Hezekiah b. 1703, is not mentioned by either parent and is presumed to have died young.
