Notes about Ermengarde de Lorraine

Ermengarde of Lorraine [dau. of Charles of Lorraine by Adelheid, parentage unknown], m. Albert I, d. 998/1011, Count of Namur, son of Robert I, Count of Lomme. [Ancestral Roots line 149-20]: AR has Ermengarde as dau. of Charles by his 2nd wife (m. bef. 979) Adelheid. However Alan B. Wilson, reporting on the work of Settipani, has her as daughter of Otto Duke of Lower Lorraine, son of Charles by his 1st wife. Thus Ermengarde is granddaughter, not daughter, of Charles.
