John Cokayne, of Ashbourne Hall; MP Derbys; m. ___, daughter of Sir William Kniveton, of Bradley, and d. 1332. [Burke's Peerage]e one, with the first John married to Lettice de Kniveton being parents of another John who is married to Lettice Withers. Burke's Peerage does not support the second generation (John and Lettice Withers), so I have eliminated it as a separate generation. I have kept Lettice Withers as a second wife for the one John, but I am sure he was not married twice in the short life span allotted to him by Burke's Peerage. Perhaps the two "Lettice"s are the same person?
