Aaltje Spigt werd begraven in het achterportaal bij de achteringang van de Nederlands Hervormde kerk, toen nog Nederduits Gereformeerde kerk te Oosterend. Op de grafsteen valt te lezen: Aaltje Spigt/o
verleed den 26 augs 1799/in den ouderdom van 29 jaar 6m 17 d. Het graf is nog steeds aanwezig maar ligt gedeeltelijk onder een houten beschot.
