Douglas Eugene Marx lost his father Eugene when he was two, and his mother May when he was twelve. He trained as a machinist eventually specializing in making parts from Beryllium for the aerospace industry. He owned several companies over the years including Space Precision and Beryllium West with clients such as Fairchild Camera and Instrument. He made the casing for one of the cameras that went to the moon. Douglas served in the United States Air Force during WWII. He was a Freemason for 71 years. Cremated, Ashes given to family or friend. Specifically: Ashes to be scattered over the Pacific Ocean
