Wilhelmine Von Fange
Maria Liesette Wilhelmine Von Fange, nee Nentrup, was born Jan. 12, 1851, at Brownstown, Jackson County, Ind. She was soon baptized and later confirmed.
In 1867 she married William Von Fange. This union was blessed with 13 children; her husband and six children preceded her into eternity.
She came to Kansas in the year 1888 and immediately made St. John's church her church home, later becoming a member of St. Paul's congregation at its organization.
On Feb. 5, 1936, the good Lord took her ransomed soul to Himself in Heaven.
She is survived by her three sons, Justinus of Deshler, Neb.; William of Atchison; and Alvin of Lincoln; and four daughters, Mrs. Henry Wolting, Mrs. Carl Meyer and Miss Emma Von Fange of Lincoln and Mrs. Gustav Pfortmueller of Natoma; as well as by 56 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
She reached the age of 85 years and 24 days.
Funeral services were held from St. Paul's Lutheran church with the pastor, the Rev. P.H. C. Stengel, in charge, on Feb. 7. Interment was in the congregation's burial ground.
