    MOORE, Juanita (Peg) passed gently into the arms of her Lord January 3 at Hospice of Hamilton. She was known to all who knew and loved her as a true humanitarian whose life was defined by those she served as a volunteer and community servant. Born November 14, 1926 in Hamilton, she graduated in the Class of 1944 from Hamilton High School. She would eventually earn Bachelor and Master of Education degrees from Miami University. Many knew her as a classroom teacher, librarian and administrator at Fillmore School. Others remember her as a devoted volunteer for the Fort Hamilton Hospital Auxiliary and Hospice of Hamilton.

    She was preceded in death by her husband Dale Lloyd Moore. Their three sons, Terry, Dick and Bob, now reside in Naples, Florida, Columbia, South Carolina and Menlo Park, California respectively.

    Her sons will welcome visitors at Weigel Funeral Home in Hamilton, 980 NW Washington Blvd., Hamilton. A funeral service will be held at Park Avenue United Methodist Church, Park and Dick Avenues in Hamilton with Pastor Barbara Dafler officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitors are invited to return to the church for a reception following interment.

    In addition to her sons, Peg leaves behind eight beloved grandchildren (Doug Moore of Pittsburgh, Pete Moore of Mainville, Ohio, Sarah Walker of Utica, NY, Emily Kohler of Charlotte, NC, Bryan Moore of Columbus, Amanda Moore and Cole Moore of Menlo Park, California and Sasha Moore of Naples, Florida) and eight great-grandchildren (Ryan Ulrick of Cincinnati, Isaac and Eva Moore of Mainville, Sean, Colin and Brendan Moore of Pittsburgh, and Sydney and Griffin Walker of Utica, New York. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Hamilton, 1010 Eaton Avenue, Hamilton, OH 45013 or the Fort Hamilton Hospital Auxiliary, 630 Eaton Avenue, Hamilton, OH 45013.
