    Age 90, of Liberty Twp., passed away at Berkeley Square on Thursday, April 11, 2013. She was born in Pittsburg, PA on May 23, 1922 the daughter of the late Leon and Sarah (Mather) Payne. Marnie was an Occupational Therapist during WW II where she met and married Robert F. Hughes. They moved to the family farm in Hughes Station , Liberty Twp. where they raised their five children. She was a member of Westwood Presbyterian Church in Hamilton, Ohio, and a founding member of the Liberty Twp. Historical Society. Marnie was very involved in the community and the actives of her children. Marnie enjoyed traveling and had visited all 50 states, mostly by car. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert and a brother, Leon Payne. She is survived by her 5 children, Carol (David) Dennison, Dan (Debbie) Hughes, Nancy Hughes, Rick (Carolyn) Hughes, and Barbara (Edmund) Polus; eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home, 240 Ross Ave. Hamilton, Ohio on Saturday, April 13th from 10:00 AM till time of funeral service at 12 noon with Rev. Norman Godfrey officiating. Burial will follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Liberty Twp. Memorial contributions may be made to Westwood Presbyterian Church, 1068 Stahlheber Rd., Hamilton, Ohio 45013.
