Charles Balfour was born in 1786.1 He was the son of James Balfour and Anna Gertrude Haatz.1 He married Maria Caroline Harington, daughter of Sir John Edward Harington, 8th Bt. and Marianne Philpot, on 1 July 1826.1 He died before 1876.1
