Hij kocht op 25.3.1628 van de weduwe van Cornelis Cornelisz. Schipper (Catelyne Sentse) en Anthonis Cornelisz. Schipper ‘een huys ende hoff, gestaen ende geleghen inden Tolhoec, met ontrent VI G IIcXIX R. b.d.g. O. de kercke Oudelande, suytMarinus Cornelisz. Schipper, west de weduwe, noort den dyck, belaest al te samen met een rente van III £ tsiaers, aencomende de weduwe van Cornelis Cornelisz. Schipper ende Anthonis Cornelisz. Schipper’, voor een bedrag van £ 500 Vls. Op dezelfde dag bekent hij schuldig te zijn aan de Catelyne Sents een bedrag van £ XCVI Vls. over de koop van 2 paarden, 2 koeien, 2 varkens, 2 kalveren, 1 wagen, 1 ploeg, 1 eg, 1 bed, een partij boonschoven, een paardeharnas, 2 balken, 6 koppel hoenders en wat andere rommel. (RAZE 3382). Cornelis Anthonisz. ontleende niet lang daarna zijn naam aan de hoek onder Oudelande waar hij woonde en werkte, namelijk ‘ de Tolhoek’. In deze hoek, echter niet op dezelfde plaats werd ± 1907 een nieuwe boerderij gebouwd, geheten ‘Hof Tolhoek’ door Willem de Jager.
