Hij werd gedoopt op belijdenis 24 mei 1781 in Kimswerd samen met zijn zuster Eelkjen. Sjouke neemt in dec 1811 de naam Westra aan voor zijn kinderen Trijntje en Klaske. Hij is overleden op 28 januari 1830 in Kimswerd, hij was toen 75 jaar oud. Overleden in het huis nr:55


Sjouke Klases Westra werd geboren rond 1763 als zoon van Claas Tjallings Westra en Lysbet Douwes. Hij is overleden op 28 januari 1838.

Getrouwd met de 31-jarige Trijntie Obes Posthumus op 27 augustus 1780. Trijntie werd geboren op 23 december 1748 in Bolsward. Zij werd gedoopt op 12 januari 1749 Bolsward Dochter van Obe Posthumus en Trijntje Herkes. Zij is overleden op 3 februari 1827 op78-jarige leeftijd in Kimswerd.
Zij waren 46 jaar getrouwd.
