Hij bouwt in 1899 een huis aan de huidige Nijverheidsstraat welke hij verhuurd aan Jan Wichers en Jenneken Bruggeman.
Later woonde hij bij Jan en Jenneken aan het Nijenbeeksepad en hij is daar overleden.
