De Thissen Hof wordt halverwege de 18e eeuw bewoond door Jacobus Thyssen. In het begin van de negentiende eeuw is Jan Derix de eigenaar van de Thissen Hof en het goed te Hax. Jacobus heeft twee schoonzonen met de naam Jan Derix! Het betreft Jan Derikx getrouwd met (Anna) Maria Camps. Mijn familie dus! Zie Joannes Camps.
