Elberfeld is a town in Greer Township, Warrick County, Indiana, United States. The population was 625 at the 2010 census. It was founded in 1885 by German immigrants and named for Elberfeld, Germany. Elberfeld is one of a very few towns of its size not to have any kind of main highway running through it or direct access to a major highway. Although Interstate 64 passes only 2 miles north of the town. The main roads, both county-maintained roads, only pass over it and Interstate 164, instead of having an interchange with either highway and the nearest Indiana road is Indiana 68, 3.5 miles north of town.
