Vanovice is a village and municipality in Blansko District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic. The municipality covers an area of 12.15 square kilometres, and has a population of 531 (as at 28 August 2006). Vanovice lies approximately 23 kilometres north of Blansko, 42 km north of Brno, and 172 km east of Prague.
