Flushing is a coastal village in west Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It is three miles south of Penryn and eleven miles south-east of Truro. It faces Falmouth across the Penryn River, an arm of the Carrick Roads. The village is well known for its yearly Regatta week in July. Flushing lies within the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). Almost a third of Cornwall has AONB designation, with the same status and protection as a National Park.
