Franciszek urodził się 24 października 1877 r. w Rożentalu. jako wikariusz w Grucznie, Strzepczu, Skórczu, Skarlinie, Wabczu, Pieniążkowie,Barłożnie, i w Grudziądzu. siędza Franciszka Błędzkiego w 1923 r. sprowadzono do kościoła w Pączewie w miejsce starych dwóch dzwonów, które Niemcy w czasie pierwszej wojny światowej przetopili na armaty nowy dzwon o wadze 274 kg.. wojennych). Przy tym remoncie prezbiterium, nawy boczne oraz środkowa, aż po chór, w miejsce drewnianego sklepienia otrzymały sklepienie murowane. W toku tych prac umieszczono w murze kościelnym dokumentację dotyczącą przebudowy i butelkę z ówczesnymi monetami.Wcześniej kościół wyposażony był w cztery ołtarze, ale ów czwarty ksiądz proboszcz Franciszek Błędzki ofiarował do nowego kościoła we Wdzie.gardzie. y w Pelplinie, poświęconej zamordowanym w czasie II wojny św. przez hitlerowców kapłanom pochodzącym z Diecezji Chełmińskiej.
