BIOGRAPHY: Josephine Elizabeth Roueche was the daughter of Thomas Francis Roueche, Sr and Margaret Comish. Josephine was sealed to John Taylor on 19 Dec 1886 in Kaysville at the age of twenty-six. Pres. Taylor died the next year on 25 July 1887. She died 27 Nov 1943 at the age of eighty-three. To our knowledge she did not marry again nor did she have any children.
Ref. letter dated 15 Jan 1967: Information received by correspondense from Vera Roueche, a niece of Josephine Elizabeth Roueche, the latter died in San Jose California. She never remarried after the death of President Taylor and was cared for by the daughter of her adopted sister.
