Notes about Christopher Taylor

SUMMARY: In the process of verifying the data on Christopher, some doubts arose as to Christopher's birth (1694) and his parentage. According to the data his father John Taylor was born abt 1687 which would make him 7 years old at Christopher's birth. When Christopher married 1749 he gave his age as 27 which would compute to birth year of about 1722. Lewis Taylor was contacted and he shared research finding from Price and Associates and they adressed the same concern. The Price Report #9404 dated 28 December 1994 details the documentation that formed the conclusion that Christopher's parents were John Taylor and Ruth Barker. Earlier submission by family member listed a Dorothy Wilson as a spouse, no evidence to confirm this marriage, therefore it will not be included in this file.

PRICE/REPORTS: Report of 28 Dec 1994. In possession of J. Lewis Taylor. Also correcpondence dated 18 May 1995 from Sydney G. Smith, Orpington, Kent, England
