Notes about Edward Taylor

SUMMARY: A marriage for Edwardus Taylor and Eliz. Taylor, 4 May 1687 in Colton, Lancashire, England was found, also three (3) children: [1] Clement 7 Feb 1688, and he married in 1713 in Colton; [2] Edwardus 23 May 1691, An Edward died there in 1729; [3] William 22 May 1700, and a William was married in Colton 1723. The question here seems to be did my Edward and Elizabeth Taylor moved back and forth between Colton, Lancashire and Beethan, Westmorland having children in both places? I need to check with both Lewis Taylor, Mary Ann and any others to see if Price has already looked for probate records. Check out the probate records and Archive Sheet (1275190) to see if it will shed any light on the subject. If it is determined that they are one and the same couple, the three children born in Colton will have to be added to the family group sheet. Also check Colton records to see if another Edward and Elizabeth were buried there. There are a lot of Taylors in Colton, and they have been extracted.

PRICE/REPORTS: Report #9404, 29 Aug 1994, pp 1-2 in possession of J. Lewis Taylor
