1851 Land Record:f three hundred and seventy five dollars to him in hand paid by John Kuykndale and Thos A white of the county and state afforsaid. I do bargain sell and convey unto thse John Kuykndall and Thos A white his heirs and assiignes a certain track or parcel of land lying and being in the state afforsaid and being in part of Daniel martin head with containing One hundred and twenty five acres more or less in the south west corner of Daniel Martins headsite survey is being the beginning corner of the survey a post oak 20 inches in diameter. D. M. Thence East 700 barress to a post with a new oak point tin thence North to panten creek I t being a conditional lline between Leonard Tomlinson and Nedom W Yates thence west with the mianders of the sd crrek to the west boundary line of sd survey, thence south with Daniel Martins lag line to the beginning corner to have and to hold the afforsaid tract of land with all the rits and apportinances unto the sd John Kuykondall and Thos A White their heir and assigns forever. Whereas the said Nedom W Yates do covenant and assign to the said Kyukendall and Whtie that he will and shall warrant and forever defend the right and title to th said land from the clain or claims of himself his heirs and assins from the claims of all survey or persons of whom should inflict. wherea I have unto set any hand and fixen my scroll this day and date above written. assigned in presents of Attest James Kyukendall and William F Farrows Nedom W Yatesykendall to one well known and often bbeing duly sworn an oath says that he saw Nedom W Yates sign the aboe attaches and acknoledged his signature thence to be for the purpose and consideration therein set forth and expressed. Given under my hand and seal of office at office in Henderson this the 37th day of Mar AD 1854.om W Yates of the County aforsaid for and in consideration of the sum of Ten Hundred dollars to me paid G. Leonard Tomlinson in his life time the recipt of which is herby acknowledged do hereby sell and assign unto the heirs of the said Leanard Tomlinson myown headrights certificate conditinal and in condition issued by the board of Land commission of nacogdoches County for Six hundred and forty acres the number and date of which I do not recall of said certificate is now located in the County of Angelina and I do hereby for? sell and censery to said heirs of their assigns all the rights titles and claim which I may have acquired in and to the siad upon which said certificate and hereby fully authorize them to apply for and obtain a patent for the same in the same names I could do given undr my hand and seat using a scrowl for seal this the 24th day of November AD 1851 Nedom W Yatestary Public in and for said coutny Nedom W yates and acknowledged that he signed, sealed and delived the written transfer to the heirs of Leonard Thomlinson and for the purpose and consideration therin expressed.
