    De vermoedelijke moeder ME Hölscher was achternicht van een van de aangevers HH Hölscher. Ze woonde in 1917-1918 aan de grens, was ongehuwd en trouwde in 1920 met H Bruns. De ongehuwde status zou verklaren waarom de aangevers "ouders onbekend" opgaven.

    Andere mogelijkheid is ouders Bruns-Wilmes, die in april 1918 'n dochter kregen. Misschien was dat 'n tweeling, Angela vernoemd naar de ene oma en Maria vernoemd naar de andere oma. Minder waarschijnlijke optie omdat er geen reden lijkt om de ouders niet te noemen.
