    in het ouderlijk huis, Jan Feringa: Bij hun huwelijk hadden beide echtelieden een akte van onvermogen nodig om hiermee vrijstelling te krijgen van de te betalen leges. In haar akte wordt haar naam geschreven als Maria Katrina Sibon. Deze naam wordt ook gebruikt bij enkele van haar ooms. Hier is de tak Sibon onstaan.
    Nats werd bij de militie ingeschreven onder het gelote nummer 49 van 1887. Wegens broederdienst werd hij voor de militie niet opgeroepen.
    Hun adres wordt aangegeven in 1929 als Barger Oosterveen nr. 354. Later hebben ze op Oranjedorp en op de Limietweg in Barger Compascuum gewoond. Op 10-10-1938 woonden ze op Broekweg nr. 4 terwijl hun zoon Berend bij hun in trouwde. Zijn adres wordt aangegeven als Barger Compascuum nr. 52 en 58.
    Hij vestigt zich in de gemeente Emmen op 02-05-1876 vanuit Ambt Hardenbergh. Ze vestigden zich in het 6e blok in Barger Oosterveen. Dit is de huidige straat waar genezer van Ommen nu woont. Zoon van Johannes Hermannus (Jan Harm) HEMELT (Johann Hermann), arbeider, en Maria Berendina (Berendina) BRUNS (Bruins, Maria Bendina). Bij hun huwelijk wordt aangegeven dat haar vader en zijn moeder geen schrijven hebben geleerd, zijn vader was al overleden. Bij haar moeder wordt aangegeven dat ze wegens zwakte van het gezicht niet kan schrijven. Dat wil zeggen dat ze wel kon lezen en schrijven maar dat ze door een teruglopend gezichtsvermogen niet meer voldoende kon zien om een handtekening te zetten.
    In 1895 woonden ze in Oranjedorp wat blijkt uit de geboorteakte van Jan. Bij het huwelijk van Dina wordt vermeld dat ze beide geen schrijven hebben geleerd, in 1920 woonden ze op de Limietweg te Barger Compascuum waar ze op twee verschillende plaatsen hebben gewoond. Deze woningen stonden ter hoogte van het huidige loonbedrijf Koopman. In de trouwakte staat vermeld dat Nats uit Barger Oosterveen komt en Katrien uit het Amsterdamseveld.
