Notes about Cornelis (Mr.) Pannekoek

In de gerechtelijke protocollen van Stoutenburg bevindt zich akte van 21-3-1786, waarin mr. Gerard van Bemmel als ex.test. van Abraham van Bemmel aan Cornelis Pannekoek een erfpacht uit land van de Spaarpot transporteert (R.A. 1163)
Cornelis wordt uiteraard verschillende malen genoemd in het oud-archief van Soest. Hij was de laatste schout van Soest, die door Stadhouder Willem V werd benoemd. Hij moest in 1795 als vurig Oranjeklant het veld ruimen. Hiertegen tekende hij protest aan middels schrijven dd. 30-11-1795 (Oud Archief Soest nr. 4) - tekst aanwezig.

In 1784, als de burgerbeweging opkomt na een oproep van het stadsbestuur om bezwaren in te dienen tegen de inrichting van het staats- en stadsbestuur, zijn van de 26 burgemeesters, schepenen en raden er 11 voor de nieuwe ideeen ontvankelijk, waaronder Wijnand Pannekoek Alardsz. en Mr. Cornelis Pannekoek.
