Notes about Walram (Walram II) von Nassau

Nachdem Heinrich II 1250/1251 starb, kam es zwischen Otto und seinem Bruder Walram, dem Begründer der walramischen Linie von Nassau, zu einem langjährigen Streit um das Erbe. Dieser wurde am 17. Dezember 1255 mit einem Teilungsvertrag beigelegt. Danach erhielt Otto den nördlichen Landesteil mit Siegen, Dillenburg, Herborn und Haiger, während das Land südlich der Lahn mit Weilburg und Idstein an Walram ging.
