Scans zoekenThe Scans search service is a very powerful tool from Genealogy Online that refers to online scans at archives and online photos of gravestones based on your genealogical data. Searching for scans helps you to find missing and additional evidence, the foundation of your genealogical research.

Newly added sources

Historical society Oud Soetermeer
The website of Historical Society Oud Soetermeer offers (in collaboration with the municipality of Zoetermeer) access to the documents of the Civil Registry of Zoetermeer and Zegwaart. Some of these scans are also available through FamilySearch, but the register must be digitally browsed and the records at Oud Soetermeer are indexed by name. The Scans search service provides suggestions that will lead you directly to the right search result and deed.

Archives départementales du Nord (FR)
The archive of the French Northern Department provides access to the digitized scans of parish registers and the marital status of nearly 800 places! The Scans search service provides suggestions that lead you to the correct records of the correct volume.

Historical archive of the city of Cologne (DE)
The Cologne Digital Historical Archive provides access to the more than 1.5 million scans of the Personenstandsregister and the Zivilstandsregister of Cologne and the many districts such as Deutz, Rondorf, Ehrenfeld, Nippes, Worringen and Kalk. The Scan Search service provides suggestions that lead you to the correct records of the correct volume. Please note, there may be several bands available for a year, which are listed in a tree structure in the left-hand menu of the German-language website.
