More modern notes on the document indicate some confusion.

It may be in these papers that I obtained the date of birth = 1 May 1799 in Bunderhammrich. The date of birth does not correlate with the Landschaftspolder OSB that gives Karl's age = 30 & date of marriage = 16.11.1817. The maths would make Karl born 1786 or 1787. If the day & month of birth is correct, then he would be born 1 May 1787.
