Wm's obit reads, 'W.E. Alwood Jr. Macon Ga. - The funeral service of William Edward Alwood, Jr., 75, of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla., who died Sunday, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the graveside in Riverside cemetery in Albany.

A native of Corpus Christi, Texas, Mr. Alwood was reared in Millen. He had moved to Fort. Walton Beach, Fla., from Albany. Mr. Allwood [sic] served in the U.S. House of Representatives in 1943-44. He was a retired real estate brokerand a member of the Covenant Presbyterian Church in Albany.

Survivors includea son, Edward M. Alwood of Washington, D.C.; a stepson, Thomas F. Waite of Fort Mill, S.C.; a sister, Martha A. Daniel of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; seven step-grandchildren; and a step-great-grandchild.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until noon Tuesday at Hart's mortuary in Macon. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a favorite charity.' <>
