Virgil Vern Viers was born May 19 1911, Vermillion, South Dakota. He was the son of Frank and Nora Viers (buried just to the north of him at Riverside Cemetery). Virgil and Grace Viers moved to Fort Morgan in 1940 and lived here untill her death in 1990. Virgil sold his home in 1994 and moved to Denver area where he lived with his sons untill his death on May 6, 1996.
