"TYNDALL - Bobby Lynn Muller, 50, Tyndall, died on Sunday (March 23, 2003) at Sioux Valley Hospital, Sioux Falls.

Funeral services are 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Leo Catholic Church, Tyndall, with the Revs. Kim Alten, Lorney VanGerpen and John Rasmussen officiating. Burial is 3 p.m. Thursday, at the Turner County First Presbyterian Cemetery, Lennox.

Pallbearers are Jim Kokes, Francis Koster, Wayne Kuper, Kent Plucker, Jim Stoebner and Bob Rueb

Visitation is from 3-9 p.m. today (Wednesday) at the Goglin-Kelley Funeral Chapel, Tyndall. There will be a 6:30 p.m. prayer service today at the church.

He was born Sept. 30, 1952, in Sioux Falls, to Aaron "Bob" and Ardell (Kuper) Muller. He graduated from Lennox High School in 1970 and earned his bachelor's degree in Ag Education from South Dakota State University in 1974. He married Georgette Ersch on Dec. 27, 1975 in Chicago, Ill. He taught Vocational Education for 28 years at Bon Homme High School in Tyndall. He was active with the South Dakota FFA and served on the National FFA Board of Directors. He was also past president of the South Dakota Vocational Association. He retired from teaching in 2002 and in July purchased a restaurant which became "Bob's Grille." He was a South Dakota certified baseball umpire and he also enjoyed bowling, golfing and the Green Bay Packers. He was an active and faithful member of Tyndall Presbyterian Church and the Tyndall Rotary.

He is survived by his wife, Georgette, Tyndall; two sons: Waren Muller, Sioux City, Iowa, and Kent Muller of Brookings; his mother, Ardell Muller, Lennox; his sister, Joy (John) Lang, Lennox; nephew Carl Lang and niece Emma Lang, both of Lennox; and many, many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father.

A scholarship fund will be established by Bob's family in his memory."
