Mrs. Ella B. Brandt, 75 Passes Away Thursday

Mrs. Ella B. Brandt, 75, died Thursday, August 1 at Park Hospital in Mason City where she had been a patient for a short time. She was a lifelong resident of the Titonka area and had lived in town the past 20 years.

Funeral services for her were held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 5 from the Immanuel Lutheran Church with Rev. John Jaclin of Woden officiationg. Burial followed in the church cemetery. Casket attendants were Arthur Rike, Harley Brandt,Edward Boyken, Rolland Fox, Bernard Pannkuk and Louis Glesking.

Mrs. Brandt was born at Titonka on March 25, 1893, a daughter of Boyd and Hilka Witlsang Pannkuk, and later married William Brandt, who prededed her in death in 1946.

Survivors include a daughter and three sons, Mrs. Alma Lauck of Whittemore, August of Swea City, and Alvin and Raymond, both of Titonka; 13 grandchildren; and 11 brothers and sisters, including Mrs. Carl Ciesking and Mrs. Chris Brandt.

Besides her husband, her parents and five brothers and sisters preceded her in death."
