Judy Morgan writes:

'George Bowles (1) m. Ann Cowley 1-28-1759 Ann, wife of Geo. Bowles (1) buried 11-15-1760

George Bowles (1), 'widower' m. Ann Russell 1-13-1771 witnesses were John Russell - Esther Cove.

Luckily, because the above could write, I was able to compare signatures & verify these were the same person. George also was a witness at the marriage of Richard Bowles & Ann Dun 28 Mar 1758 (possibly a brother?) Richard & Ann could notwrite their names.' - 14Ja1989
