In his will, written on 30 May 1610 and probated on 7 Feb 1611, Richard mentions his wife Joan and children Thomas, Elizabeth, Ellen and Alice. .He left his wife use of his goods, the use of the chamber over the kitchen and an annuity of £5 from his lands in Towcester. (1). To daughter Elizabeth 10 pounds, to daughter Ellin 30 pound, but 10 pounds if she were to marry Robert Married of Clcot, to daughter Alice 30 pounds at marriage, to son Thomas all his land in Towcester and the rest of his goods to pay his debts.
