"Death of Mrs. Celina Keivel
-
Mrs. Celina Keivel of Sioux City, a former resident of Hawarden, passed away in St. Vincent's hospital in Sioux City last Thursday, Dec. 31, after an illness of several months. Mrs. Keivel had been a resident in St. Vincent's hospital for five years.

Funeral services were held at Immaculate Conception Catholic church in Sioux City at 9 o'clock Monday morning. Rt. Rev. Magr. E. J. Smith officiated. Burial was in Calvary cemetery.

Celina Luchsinger was born in Hawarden Sept. 15, 1868, and so was past 74 years of age at the time of her death. She was united in marriage to Fred Keivel in Hawarden March 15, 1886. She moved to Sioux City in 1932 and a year later her husband passed away.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Emma Jager of Hawarden and Mrs. Clara Young of Beaver, Okla., and three sons, Henry and Carl of Perrysburg, Pa., and Louis of San Francisco, Calif. She also leaves three half-sisters, Mrs. Anna Stephens and Mrs. Grace Smith of Sioux City, and Mrs. Carrie Fling to San Francisco, Calif; two half-brothers, Chas. Luchsinger of Sioux City and John Luchsinger of San Diege, Calif, and 20 grandchildren."
