Please read all of the sources that have already been added, look closely at "1590 Devon Marriage records" which came from the Parish Records in Devon which show Philipe Eason/Easton married John Chapin.

This marriage record does not give her parent's names, but, it does give her maiden name!!!!

This is what happened for those lost here or new to this line:

Phillipe's parents are not yet identified in the records that exist. Many presume it to be Henri Easton, but their is no verification for this data. Do not add them until their is sufficient evidence to support this claim.

John died in June of 1600, and left Phillipe a widow. Phillipe was also pregnant at the time and im sure it was sad. She had a baby in November of that same year (1600). Her name is Margaret (check memories for her birth here, you will notice that it only lists Phillipe as the parent). She then remarried in 26 January 1601 to George Stone. Most have misread the document, but I have added it in the memories so you can clearly see that the months are sometimes above and below the year, so if you follow from top to bottom its not 1600, but January 1601. After she was married with Stone, he died in 1616, had a Will, names her children and left provisions. She moved to Berry Pomeroy, Devonshire, and there is where she lived\\died until 1637, not in 1614-17 as most have guessed and not verified the correct document. This makes total sense, as the records show the proof, and this is also where Samuel Chapin had a family, and left to go to America in the 1630s...
