There is absolutely no proof of his first name (commoners didn't have middle names back then so that was not obtained from a record either), nor that he ever came to Massachusetts. He died before 2 Jul 1641, when the widow Damaris was admitted to the Salem Church. See Anderson, Robert Charles, New England, The Great Migration and The Great Migration Begins, 1620-1635 . . . .

We don't know where/when he was born or when/where he died.
We don't know his wife's maiden name or when/where she was born. "https://www.ancestry.com/genealogy/records/" aren't records. They are often collections of misinformation copied from other trees and compiled and made to look like authentic research. How did "John Nutting" get into this mix and have so many "sources" that have nothing to do with the time and place for this Shattuck family? ....

GEDCOMs might be sources but they aren't historical or contemporaneous records or documents. They are family trees.
....
We know he didn't die 6 June 1689 at the age of 95. Apparently missed the fact that Damaris was listed as a WIDOW IN 1641. Interesting he is shown as died 1689 but wasn't buried until 1698.

The 6 June 1689 death date is his son Samuel who was born in 1620. The son has a readable headstone.
