Fraudulent Genealogy / Ancestry of Simon Huntington Reason: The publication "Huntington Family in America" page 11 states:
"Our knowledge of his ancestry is derived from a report of investigation made by Gustav Anjoy, a genealogist, for Henry Edwards Huntington."
Gustav Anjou was not a genealogist, but instead a noted peddler of genealogical fraud. His contributions to the Huntington genealogy must be ignored as such.

The origins of Simon Huntington, often shown with a christening date of 7 August 1583, and with parents George Huntington and his wife Anne (Fenwick) Huntington, must be considered false. It is based upon the work of Gustav Anjou, who provided a genealogical report to Henry Edwards Huntington. Gustav Anjou was not a genealogist, but instead a noted peddler of genealogical fraud. As such, his false parents and christening date have been removed
Regarding the fraudulent genealogy of Simon Huntington, several respected sources state that his lineage is unknown.[4][5] Jacobus asserts that "The Huntington Family, published in 1915 to supplement the Memoir of 1863, includes (page 11) an English pedigree of the Huntington family, which we ignore as worthless."[6]

I have personally been in touch with the Vicar, Martin Young, of St. Andrew's (Norwich, Norfolk County, England) and the Resident Historian, Jonathan Piesse, for the same church. Jonathan Piesse was able to verify with the Norfolk Record Office: The marriage to Margaret Barrett & the Baptism of their daughter Ann at the St. Simon and St. Jude Church.
I have also spent hours with a woman who is an expert in genealogy for England & she has stated that unless someone is willing to go to Norwich, Norfolk, England and do research on all the parishes (Norwich has over 30 & Norfolk County has 540), this information on Simon Huntington is as "complete" as it's going to get. She also stated that the language of "Latin" would have to be known.
