POWER - Beverly Ione (Davis) Ewert, 76, a longtime Power resident, died of cancer Monday at Peace Hospice Residence Center.

Survivors include three daughters, a son, two sisters, a brother, 12 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Beverly was born in Great Falls on July 27, 1931, the daughter of Lyle E. Davis and Emma M. (Kind) Davis. She graduated from Power High School in 1949 and that same year married Richard Ewert.

Through the years, she was employed by the Power Post Office, Smoot Honey Co., Power School, the Power Café and the Pantry Café. She was also a homemaker and caretaker of her family, raising four children.

She belonged to the Ladies Auxiliary, the Power Community Church, and enjoyed gardening and participating in and attending her children's extracurricular activities.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Richard in June of 2007; a brother, Lark Davis; and a sister, Mildred Foreman.
