Marilyn A. (Hohensee) Heise, 70 years of age, of Lincoln, Nebraska, formerly of Wymore, Nebraska, passed away at the Bryan East Medical Center in Lincoln Tuesday night, May 19, 2015. She was born on November 12, 1944, to Louis and Doris (Jones) Hohensee, and was a 1963 graduate of Wymore High School. Marilyn had been employed at Formfit, Beatrice State Developmental Center, Gold Crest Day Care Center in Adams, and at Russ Market in Lincoln. She had lived in Wymore, Adams, and Lincoln, Nebraska, for the past 17 years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Wymore. Marilyn enjoyed fishing, camping, and being with her family.

Survivors include her children Melissa Clark of Shelby, Nebraska, Pam Heise of Beatrice, Nebraska, Brenda Parrish and husband Jeff of Lincoln, Kevin Heise and wife Melinda of Bruno, Nebraska, Janelle Clifton of Tecumseh, Nebraska, Randy Heise, and Scott Heise, both of Lincoln; 13 grandchildren Danielle, Derek, Nicole, Britany, Nathan, Cody, Kyle, Katie, Dakota, Hunter, Ethan, Conner, and Amber; 6 great grandchildren River, Kylee, Kimber, Katelyn, Braxton, and Payton; and her brothers and sisters Roger Hohensee and wife Linda of Janesville, Wisconsin, Ron Hohensee and special friend Gloria Henderson of Wymore, Larry Hohensee and wife Linda of Blue Springs, Nebraska, Joyce Farnsworth and special friend Riley of Janesville, Barb Wherry of Wymore, Gail Kier and husband Ron of Wymore, Dennis Hohensee of Huntington, Indiana, and Mark Hohensee and wife Bev of Ashland, Nebraska; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Louis and Doris (Jones) Hohensee; brother Kenneth Hohensee; 2 brothers-in-law Jerry Farnsworth and Jerry Wherry; sister-in-law Vickie Hohensee; and one nephew.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 23, 2015, at the United Methodist Church in Wymore with Reverend Lori Miller officiating. Interment will be in the Wymore Cemetery. The body will lie in state Friday from 2-9:00 and Saturday from 9-12:00 at the Laughlin-Hoevet Funeral Home in Wymore and at the church one hour preceding the service. A memorial has been established to the family's choice with the funeral home in charge. A family prayer service will be held at 1:45 PM Saturday at the church.
