Benerd Jan "Ben" Meylink is the son of Hendrik Jan "Henry John" & Janna Gezeina (Ten Haken) Meylink.

Ben married Mina Bernice Houwers on December 29, 1909 in Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin.

Ben and Mina are the parents of three children:

Funeral services were held at the American Reformed Church in Hull at 1:30 P.M. October 16 for Ben J. Meylink, 90, a former Hull resident, who died at the Orange City nursing home October 13 where he had resided for the past two months.

Services were conducted by the Rev. M. Paul Vander Woude and burial was in Hope Cemetery at Hull.

Mr. Meylink was born in Sioux County October 16, 1882. He married Mina Houwers December 29, 1909, in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. She died August 10, 1960. He married Mabel (Easly) Willard March 9, 1962 in Artesia, California.

Mr. Meylink was a real estate broker and auctioneer in Hull for many years prior to his retirement. He had lived at Leisure World, Seal Beach, California for a number of years prior to moving to Orange City recently.

Survivors include the widow of Seal Beach; two sons, a daughter, a sister, 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
