Mary Kemp-Borgers, 76

CLINTON - Mrs. Mary A. Kemp-Borgers, 76, of 301 Parker Drive, Clinton, died Friday, Sept. 27, 2013 at Hospice Home of Rockingham County in Reidsville, N.C. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, at Royal-Hall Funeral Home Chapel in Clinton with the Rev. Don Fleming officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Horeb Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Elizabethtown. Born in 1937 in Mount Holly, N.J., Mrs. Borgers was the daughter of the late Thomas Franklin and Anna Marie (Stayton) Gauntt. She was a retired seamstress and a piano instructor. She is survived by: a daughter, Catherine D. Perrucci and husband, Paul, of Prince Frederick, Md.; two sons, Marc W. Mallow and wife, Bonnie, of Ft. Pierce, Fla., and Jonathan W. Mallow & wife, Brenda, of Reidsville, N.C.; a step-daughter, Linda Kay Blake and husband, David, of Bluefield, W.V.; two sisters, Anna M. Travis & husband, Dale, of Fla., and Jane L. Harvey of Fla.; two brothers, William O. Gauntt and wife, Barbara, of Fla., and James D. Gauntt of Fla.; and a sister-in-law, Gladys Gauntt of W.V.; numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husbands, James Kemp and Robert Borgers, and a brother, Thomas H. Gauntt. The family will receive friends Friday, Oct. 4, from 7 until 9 p.m. at Royal-Hall Funeral Home, 301 McKoy St., Clinton, N.C. Condolences may be sent by visiting www.royalhallfuneralhome.com.
