Hilbertus was born to Hilbert and Minnie L. (Ackerman) Wieman.
Funeral services for Hilbertus, A. Wieman, 81 were held Friday, May 15, 1998.
Mr. Wieman died Tuesday, May 12, 1998, in his home in Marion, SD.
Mr. Wieman was born Jan. 18, 1917, in rural Monroe, SD.
He married Goldie Moore on Feb. 20, 1940, in rural Canistota, SD.
They farmed northwest of Monroe all of their married lives. They moved into Marion in February 1998.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by four sons: Eldon of Madison, SD, and Norman, Randy and David, all of Sioux Falls; three daughters: Glenda Vetter, Portage, MI, Carol Husby, Sioux Falls and Gloria Buck, Crooks, SD; 14 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two brothers: Elmer and Francis, both of Monroe.
