MASON CITY - Funeral services for Mrs. Clarence (Beverly M.) Bosma, 54, of 1715 Hillcrest Drive, will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, 100 First St. N.E. The Rev. Robert L. Stone will officiate with burial in Grace-land Cemetery, Buffalo Center.

Mrs. Bosma died Sunday (June 28, 1987) at home.

She was born Sept. 13, 1932, at Elmore, MN., to Carl and Elsie (Fredrickson) Smith. She graduated from Elmore (Minn.) High School and later graduated from Hamilton Business College, Mason City. She worked as a bookkeeper in Mason City.

On May 18, 1952, she was married to Clarence A. Bosnia at Elmore, Minn. For 19 years the couple farmed north of Buffalo Center. In 1971 they moved to Mason City where she worked as a waitress in various restaurants and was a licensed life insurance agent.

She was a charter member of the Lioness Club and was a Girl Scout leader. She was a member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ, the Mason City Executive Club, Cerro Gordo Democratic Party and Community Volunteer Projects.

Visitation will be after 2:30 p.m. today until 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 209 Second St. N.E.. Memorials may be given to Hospice of Cerro Gordo.

Survivors include her husband, Clarence of Mason City ; one daughter, Linda Bosma, Minneapolis, Minn.; two sons, John of Minneapolis, Minn., and Mark, Mason City; her mother, Mrs. Elsie M. Smith, Elmore, Minn.; one sister, Mrs. Virginia Ristau, Elmore, Minn.; one brother, James F. Smith, Elmore, Minn.; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father.
