"Norma Quame-Bosma November 26, 1921 - August 08, 2014

Norma Quame-Bosma, 92 of Buffalo Center, died Friday, August 8, 2014 at her home in Buffalo Center.
Funeral services will be 10:30 am Monday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Buffalo Center, with Pastor Bill Peake officiating. Burial will be in Olena Mound Cemetery, Buffalo Center.

Visitation will be Sunday from 4 to 6:00 pm at Winter Funeral Home, Buffalo Center, and 1 hour before the service at the church.

Norma Elaine Iseminger (aka Norma Elaine Sterrenberg) was born on November 26, 1921 in Canton, SD the daughter of Ernest and Violet Iseminger. Norma graduated from high school in Buffalo Center and went on to teach country school in the area. Norma married Orlando "Lindy" Quame on April 20, 1944. When Lindy began plumbing, she was the bookkeeper for the family plumbing business. Later she worked at Miller Drug Store and was active in organizing Hospice in the Buffalo Center area. On December 14, 1996 Norma married Jim Bosma. Norma was a strong and determined woman who put family first and lived life to the fullest. She enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She took pride in her yard and flowers, enjoyed cooking, sewing, crocheting, and getting together with her weekly card group. She was a Meals on Wheels volunteer and a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Survived by: her husband Jim Bosma; daughter Debby Smith; daughter-in-law Paulette Quame; step-son Steven (Sue) Bosma; step-daughter Suzanne Becker. By her Grandchildren: Gina (Greg) Welp - McCayla and Morgan; Janet (Bruce) Behn - Cassie, Jalen and Jessie Uhlenhopp, Noah Behn; Abbie White - Gage, Brekkin and Duchovny; Jason (Angie) Smith - Austin and Justin; Nikki (Steve) Knowlton; Robin (Terry) Olmstead – Trevor; Kim (Travis) Borneman - Ivy, Jacob and Owen; Kenzie (Sebastion) Thompson; Jesse (Kelsey) Bosma - Kaidin, Gabby, Wyatt and Titus; Katie Bosma. As well as her sister Dorothy Callahan. She was proceeded in death by her parents, husband Lindy Quame; sons Gregory and Bradley Quame; and sister Lois Shumway"
